4g and 3g Network Essay Example for Free
4g and 3g Network EssayIn this paper I go forth be discussing the different tuner networks, 3G and 4G. I will comp are and melodic phrase the 3G wireless networks to 4G networks. This essay sh both also distinguish which wireless network has the fastest download speeds and service availability. I will identify the competition between the 3G and 4G networks, and which service customers prefer to use. I also will provide which ph one services such as Verizon and ATT go for the most network coverage by dint ofout America. cerebrate this article I would like for the reader to get a better understanding with the relation of the 3G and 4G wireless networks. The 3G service is a high speed to training and voice services, made within the 3G wireless network. A 3G network is a high-speed wireless network, offering speeds of at least 144 kilobits per second. For comparison, a dial-up meshing connection on a computer offers about 56 kilobits per second. The 3G network is a tremendo us difference offering a faster speed for earnings access. In your daily use of this wireless network, you will notice the 3G network vary. Factors such as signal, location and, and network traffic all come into chat up (Liane, Cassavoy 2013). The 4G network is the newest mobile broadband service. Network companies such as Sprint, T-Mobile, and, Verizon have jumped on the bandwagon.See much Unemployment problems and solutions essayUnlike 3G, 4G has a connection unfastened of 100Mbps with high mobility up to 1Gbps with low mobility (Wi-Fi range) (Dachis 2010). Even though there access is different because one is an upgraded system, they both is still allow for consumers to access the internet and have clearer calling service. The architecture for both systems is used on a wide area. Nonetheless 4G has been integrated on a wireless LAN network and 3G is a wide area cell base, which notes that 3G is used for voice and information network (Moore 2010). The users perception of these networks will be that they will be equal to access the web from these at higher speeds, especially with a 4G network. There are three different types of 4G that are used in the different wireless networks. On the graph from Adam Dachis article, he has listed these networks and their providers. Sprint uses WiMax this speed is listed as an average downstream of 3-6 mbps, 10mbs peak and its 10x faster than 3G. Its coverage is nationwide covering major cities and markets. The periodical cost or user perception will be $60 for an unlimited 4G data and 5GB of a 3G data. The compatibility of the operating system is through all OS (via mobile) Hotspot. Verizon uses the LTE network, with a downstream of 5-12 mbps and an upstream of 2-5 mbps. Its coverage is listed in 38 markets and 60 major airports on December 5, 2010 with full nation-wide coverage by 2013. The monthly cost is set for $50 for 5GB, $80 for 10GB and $10 a GB for overages. The compatibility of the operating system is through Windows only (at the launch of MAC OS X support). GoingWimax.com has listed reverse compatibility for LTE is with GSM and HSPA and that WiMax is compatible with updates standard of Mobile WiMax and the previous standard of fixed Wimax. WiBro is an internet based system that is also used for service with cell phones. Its backward compatibility is based same database system as Wimax which is WiMax standard. HSPA+ is used by T-Mobile with a peak downstream of 21mbps peak upstream of 5.7mbps with up to 3x faster than 3G. The coverage provided is nationally of many major cities and markets. All of these providers have proven service, but it is just up to consumer on which service they prefer. The competition between the 4G carriers has become so raspy because consumers are looking for bargains and the best service such as how faster is the speed of the data network, the monthly payment, the coverage of the network service, the devices that are offered by the providers and the harbor of service. Sprint had a head start with introduction of 4G. They have excellent coverage over the United States allowing for data nationwide. Sprint is the only one of the carriers to elevate average speeds and just peak rates (Moore 2010). Moore (2010) has found that Verizon has the best speed, T-Mobile and Sprint tied with the most affective cost margin, Sprint provided the device options to consumers and best value. Verizon has been subject to cover more markets because LTE has been so popular.Verizon set the stage over ATT by expanding their markets to more consumers. Verizon is able to have more mbps than ATT as well. Verizon exceeded 5 Mbps during 82 percent of our download tests and 66 percent of our upload tests ATT surpassed this number in only 68 percent of our download tests and 40 percent of our upload tests (Moore 2012). Head-to-head comparison of these two networks measures performance over the first quarter of 2012 and across multiple markets, throwing Verizons mo re mature LTE network together with ATTs nascent one to see what performance each offers consumers. (Moore 2012)In conclusion 3G and 4G are both still reliable services. They allow users to successfully communicate over the internet and through their mobile devices. 4G will allow new/ old consumers to purchase more high tech devices for the convenience of modern technology and communication. This essay has shown that 4G is the newer model with more services and applications to be provided. It is now the most sort after network on the market, with its speed of 100Mbps of high mobility. The fight over the best network will continue in the future. Consumers are constantly researching for the newer, better, and fastest networks available. According to Moore 2010 Sprint has proven so far to be the best network, but surely Verizon and ATT are on the rise. They are following close behind to be the top network themselves. The competition is growing the quarters, so more than likely Sprint peradventure surpassed by another device or network only time will tell.ReferencesAdmin. 2009. Catherines wedding Essay Example for Free
Catherines wedding EssayIn act two of the play the family has really broken apart. Beatrice and Eddie barely speak and Catherine and Rodolfo gain their first argument. They argue because what Eddie said to Catherine about Rodolfo using her for a passport has really made her think, now that she knows one day they bequeath get married, she asks him if he would live with her in Italy instead of in America. He says, No. I allow not marry you to live in Italy. This upsets Catherine, however it infuriates Rodolfo. This part in the passage shows how their relationship is strong, because they make up quickly and she realises he loves her for her not just her papers. The night that Eddie returns home drunk and orders Rodolfo out his house shows just how greedy Eddie really is. Catherine says how she is leaving as well if he leaves but Eddie says to Rodolfo, Get outa here. Alone. You hear me? Alone. Catherine tries to stand up to Eddie, she says how she isnt a baby anymore, but he cut s her clear up mid-sentence and grabs her, and kisses her, I think he kissed her because he is drunk and he cant control his feelings anymore, but then when he gets her reaction he isnt happy. He approximation she might feel the same way but she obviously doesnt. He realises he shouldnt have one it.Then Rodolfo shouts at Eddie to let go of her, Eddie asks if he wants something and Rodolfo bursts out, Yes Shell be my wife. That is what I want. My wife. Eddie winds up Rodolfo and Rodolfo tries to defend Catherine, he tries to attack Eddie but Eddie is much stronger than him. In attempt to cover up his kiss with Catherine Eddie gets Rodolfo and he, pins his arms, laughing, and unawares kisses him. This is embarrassing for Rodolfo because it shows how weak he is and its also embarrassing for Catherine because she has to break them up, proving she is stronger than Rodolfo. This however makes Catherine and Rodolfos relationship even stronger because now they are going to get married an d Catherine knows Rodolfo will try to defend her in a fight.Eddie goes to see Alfieri for the second time, he tells him about the kiss and says he did it to try and prove Rodolfo was gay. Alfieri says that there is nothing he can do to help Eddie unless he wants him to call in-migration and report the two immigrants. Alfieri gives him a second piece of advice, he says, Even those who understand you will turn against you, even the ones who feel the same will despise you. He is chideing Eddie not to do anything, not to report Marco and Rodolfo and also not to do anything with Catherine. Leave them both alone. But Eddie doesnt listen to Alfieri he goes to the phone box outside his house, and calls up immigration. When he gets home Rodolfo and Marco have moved out, into a mat upstairs with two new immigrants. Eddie now panics, one of the immigrants is Liparis nephew and he has a rough family. The last time someone snitched on immigrants, a boy named Vinny, they grabbed him in the kitc hen and pulled him down the stairs three flights his head was bouncin like a coconut. And they spit on him in the street, his own father and brothers. Now that Eddie has informed immigration about Marco and Rodolfo he thinks that will happen to him, so hes nervous people will find out it was him who informed immigration.Immigration come and search downstairs and upstairs. They find all four of the immigrants upstairs and bring them down. Marco starts shouting at Eddie, That one I accuse that one He killed my children The one that stole the fare from my children the whole neighbourhood is watching and listening, and then everyone turns away and leaves Eddie. The only one left is Beatrice.Marco and Rodolfo can be put on bail until their court hearing, but Marco has to promise he wont hurt Eddie. Rodolfo will be fine, because he is going to marry Catherine, but Marco will definitely be deported. Marco promises and they both go. Eddie is at home and Beatrice is with him getting ready for Catherines wedding. Eddie refuses to let her go, he says that if she goes, shes not allowed back. Catherine turns and starts shouting at Eddie, Hes a rat He belongs in the sewerRodolfo comes in to warn Eddie about Marco, saying hes praying in the church, and then hes coming for Eddie. Eddie refuses to go away, he stays, waiting in the house. Eddie goes to meet Marco outside and produces a knife. He threatens Marco and tells him to apologise or hell kill him. Marco shouts at Eddie, Anima-a-a-l Eddie lunges at Marco with the knife, but Marco takes the blade and turns it on Eddie, pushing it into Eddie.Eddie falls to the floor as Marco looks down on him. It is like the resultant of act one in that Marco is standing above Eddie, with a weapon, and Eddie has lost. It was inevitable that he would die because he never knew when to stop. However I dont think Eddie deserved to die, he was only doing what he thought was correct, he wanted Catherine, and got jealous that someone else cou ld have her, he never meant to hurt anyone, he just wanted to have Catherine to himself and Rodolfo and Marco to go away. Now there is tension between Beatrice and Marco, and Catherine and Marco, but they are not annoyed, because they knew there was nothing else he could have done.

Existence of matinee idol EssayTranslate and/or justify the following terms aesity, atomic number 18te, endoxa, ergon, eudaimonia, peccatum, telos, virtus, vitium Arete Greek for virtue, or excellence Virtus and vitium Latin for virtue and vice Endoxon (endoxa) Greek, reputable opinion(s) Ergon Greek, consumption/characteristic activity Eudaimonia Greek, happiness, well cosmos Peccatum Latin, sin Telos Greek, end, aim Discuss and/or apply the following concepts doctrine of the mean, the endoxic method, the function argu custodyt, omnipotence The Endoxic Method- reputable opinions for ex.Happiness as uniquely world, as under our control, as requiring activity. The Function communication channel-To know whether P is a near(a) instance of its kind, you need to know the function (ergon) of P ? A virtue/excellence (arete) of P is a characteristic P needs in order to fulfill its function. The Doctrine of the mean-1. For any given situation, there is a specific affectatio n appropriate to it, e. g. , desire, anger, fear, confidence, envy, joy, pity, and so forth 2. For any given affectation, one suffer exhibit it either too much, too little, or in the appropriate amount 3.The chaste person constantly exhibits an affectation in the appropriate amount. -for ex. Truthfulness virtue regarding telling the truth about oneself? Defect self-depreciating Excess phony omnipotence- all condition and unlimited power Distinguish goods that are, according to Aristotle, valued for the sake of skeletoner(a) things, valued for their avow sake, and valued for their own sake and for the sake of other things you want some things that gets you other stuff.for example money so its a sake for other things. valued for own sake-having a yacht gives you pleasure only if then enjoying it with more friends and blend the world and give you more pleasure. the one good. happiness is the one thing that every one wants and is valued for its own sake. e That which is valued o nly for its own sake and for whose sake everything else is desired That which is valued for its own sake and for the sake of other things That which is valued only for the sake of other things.Discuss why Aristotle rejects stately views that identify happiness with pleasure, honor, and virtue, and what he thinks this tells us about the nature of happiness Aristotle rejects three common conceptions of happinesspleasure, honor, and wealth. Happiness, he says, can non be identified with any of these things (even though all three may be part of an overall happy life). Pleasure, he says, is found in satisfying desiresbut whether or non we can satisfy our desires is as much up to chance as it is up to us. The life of pleasure. paradox the life fit for a pig The life of honor. Problem not under our control The life of virtue. Problem compatible with inaction Distinguish between psychological, somatic, and external goods, explaining how they contribute to Aristotles conception of happines s outside goods- attractiveness, wealth.. Psychological Goods- mental health.. Somatic goods- Nonetheless, happiness evidently needs external goods to be added, as we said, since we cannot, or cannot easily, do fine actions if we lack the resources. For, first of all, in many actions we use friends, wealth, and political power just as we use instruments. Further, deprivation of certain things for instance, good birth, good children, beauty mars our blessedness. For we do not altogether have the character of happiness if we look utterly repulsive or are ill-born, solitary, or childless and we have it even less, presumably, if our children or friends are totally bad, or were good but have died.Discuss the roles of habituation and right reason in Aristotles analysis of virtuous action function of human beings is knowledge and it whatseparates from animals. virtuous action is what a rational person who acts for the right reason. but you also have to feel the correct emotions and feeling s to do virtuous actions and be properly affected which office that you find the right things pleasant. And wants to do the right thing. so if you dont feel like you want to give money to roofless and still give it it does not count as a virtous thing. the teachers ice cream technique- dont want to do it but do it for ice cream but over time the kids want to do it because it is the virtuous thing to do.Identify and describe Aristotles three requirements for friendship and his three different kinds of friendship Pleasure-friendships- or so common among theyoung, fades easily utility-friendships,- most common among the old and also fades easily. character-friendships- You love a person because of the good qualities she or he possesses. genuine friendship. Explain what Aristotle means when he claims that friends are second selves A friend is a second self, so that our certainness of a friends macrocosm makes us more fully conscious of our own existence. and Friendly relations with ones neighbors, and the marks by which friendships are defined, seem to have proceeded from a mans relation with himself. For men think a friend is one who wishes well and does what is good, or seems so, for the sake of his friend, or one who wishes his friend to exist and live, for his sake Explain why doubting Thomas thinks idols existence is self-evident, why it nonetheless may not be evident to us, and how Aquinas thinks beau ideals existence can be made evident Not every human realizes the existence of perfection. Examples of self-evident promptingsA pig is an animal a bachelor is an unmarried male cosmos self-evident in itself versus self-evident to us Aquinas I maintain that God exists is self-evident in itself since its subject and predicate are identicalbut the proposition is not self-evident to us (197). Question 02 can Gods existence be made evident? Perhaps Gods existence is an article of faith, not of reason There are two types of demonstration those that argue fro m cause to effectand those that argue from effect to cause (198). Hitting a pool ball, pressing the on button, hand on the stove. So, from what effects do we infer Gods existence? Gods effects in the world, Mozart and his music Understand Aquinas unmoved mover and teleological arguments for the existence of God and articulate at least one objection to each Argument one of five the unmoved mover (200). Everything has a cause, but causes cant go on infinitely. The first uncaused cause is God. Objections why must it be God? Maybe time is infinite? Telos the end toward which a thing strives. Everything in nature has a telos. If a thing is non-intelligent, some intelligence operation must give it its telos.Objection nature is not telonic in this way Discuss why the question can God become a colliery that God cannot lift? is said to be paradoxical and how Aquinas tries to resolve the paradox The paradox of omnipotence can God create a stone he cannot lift? If God can, there is somethi ng God cannot do, i. e. , lift the stone If God cannot, there is something God cannot do, i. e. , create the stone If there is something God cannot do, God is not omnipotent Therefore, God is not omnipotent So we conclude that Gods power extends to anything possible in itself and not implying contradiction.Clearly then God is called omnipotent because he can do everything possible in itself. (p. 249). because if god cannot lift the the stone he created, he is not omintipitent and also if he cannot create that he cannot lift therefore he is not omnipotent so either way god is not omnipotent so aquinas says that god creates certain laws in the universe that he himself cannot break which is considered absolute possibility and relativee possibility is what he can change. Explain what Aquinas means when he claims unrighteous does not exist because evil does not exit because evil is absence of happiness.Understand the weak and strong versions of the problem of evil and discuss Aquinas etymon to the problem Strong version of the problem If an omnipotent, omniscient, perfectly good God exists, then evil does not exist Evil exists Therefore, an omnipotent, omniscient, perfectly good God does not exist Weak version of the problem Evil exists The non-existence of God is a more plausible explanation of evil than is the existence of an omnipotent, omniscient, perfectly good God Therefore, its more plausible that God does not exist If an omnipotent, omniscient, perfectly good God exists, then evil does not exist.Aquinas adjudicate to the problem of evil Why is there evil and sin in thet world? Evil is the necessary result of freedom of the will Thus, God does not command sin, God permits sin Does God cause evil and sin? God is responsible for sinful actions but not for sins 296 Distinguish Aquinas conceptions of eternal, natural, and human law Human law Quoting Cicero laws start with what nature produces, then by use of reason certain things become customs, and finally things produced by nature and tried and true by custom are sanctified withthe weight of laws (420).Eternal law God as divine legislator Clearlythe entire community of the universe is governed by Gods reason (417). Divine providence ordering of the universe toward good Natural law Non-moral sense laws of nature. Moral sense guides the actions of animals Since everything subjected to Gods providence is measured by the standards of his eternal law, as we have said, everything shares in some way in the eternal law, bearing its imprint in the form of a natural tendency to pursue the behavior and goals appropriate to it.Reasoning creatures are subject to Gods providence is a special, more levelheaded way than others by themselves sharing in the planning (418). Eternal law is identical to the mind of God as seen by God himself. It can be called law because God stands to the universe which he creates as a ruler does to a community which he rules. When Gods reason is considered as it is un derstood by God Himself, i. e. in its unchanging, eternal nature (q91, a1) , it is eternal law.

Study On Primary And Secondary Storage Computer Science Essay
Study On Primary And unessential Storage Computer Science try outPrimary retentivity is also known as Immediate Access Storage and is where data is stored on the main computer computer retention. An example of primary storage is RAM (Random Access Memory otherwise referred to as RWM (Read Write Memory). RAM is the memory chip stored within the computers motherboard, where data can be read, stored and edited. RAM is highly fast and is where chopines are usually installed, due to its ability to run programs quickly and more efficiently than Secondary storage facilities.Secondary storage is where software and or so documents or spreadsheets are stored onto a hard drive or externally onto a device such(prenominal) as a disk, which is easily get-at-able when required, via any computer or laptop and easily transportable. This is a much slow form of storage but popularly used, as the computers CPU (Central Processing Unit) memory is limited in size and its storage capacity. The in formation is usually stored on CD ROM external hard drives flash memory or USB create verbally drives. Secondary storage is permanent and only becomes obsolete in time (when it eventually wears out or is replaced by unsanded and improved technology). Complex functions such as translators for high-level languages and operating systems are placed on ROM memory. (Comp Wisdom, 2006). The ROM memory chip is a viable permanent storage celerity for manufacturers, as users are unable to overwrite the information stored on this device. Off-site data storage is non-volatile and is where information is stored at another location away from the computer, which is accessible from a direct call or via the internet. Off-site data storage is beneficial as a backup if complications arise with the onsite computer system. (No-Moa Publishers, 2000)Table 1-Differences in the midst of Primary and Secondary Storage. Virtualization (or hypervisor) is similar to simulation where an identical copy of an operating system is made.Virtualization can be formed for various systems such as Networks Platforms Applications Desktops servers and storage devices. This means that quadruple virtual machines can be run on a wholeness host (via virtualization),containing its own resources operating systems and hardware, reducing the risk of software applications from ca utilize complications with severally other due to incompatibility errors or conflict. This functionality has also been developed for wireless technology including mobile phones. The benefit of mobile phones having this functionality is that the virtualized environmentwould be open to developers or open to the user to add and install applications to customize the phone as they want without disrupting the carrier communicate.(Hazelton, Nov 2008).Figure 2 Virtualization Image Blue Whale clear Inc, 20103. The Home Theater receiver, also referred to as an AV receiver or Surround Sound Receiver, is the heart of a home theater system and provides most, if not all, the inputs and outputs that you connect everything, including your television, into. An AV Receiv er provides an easy and cost-effective way of centralizing your your home theater system. Part One discusses the audio factors to take into consideration.4. The sully in network systems is an abstraction of the real system and itscomplex infrastructure. It hides the actual processes and network connections to the user such as servers, routers hubs, switches, cabling and storage (the points of entry and exits) that enable data processing.(Wiley Publishing Incoporated, 1998)The cloud represents the communications network such as network cables, which connect to various devices in order to communicate over short distances or over a large geographical area, similar to that of a telephone infrastructure.5a. PDF known as Portable Document Formatis a system by which files can be displayed on various applications which is independent of software, hardware and operating systems which they originated from and the computer or printer from which the output originated.(Adobe Systems Incorporate d, 2006, p. 33). PDF files have a sophisticated imaging model derived from PostScript summon description language (Adobe Systems Incorporated, 2006)which has been redefined to incorporate binary format.PDF files contain universally accepted format of arrays syntaxes graphics imagery and text containing specified instructions objects that allows outputto be invariable across un-similar devices.b. The format for storing, page layout and managing objects is compressed in PDF files via means of fixed, two-dimensional PostScript document. The advantages of using PDF files rather than HTML are-Files can be encrypted and cannot be tampered with can have a digital signature which can be for legal issues images and information can be used as evidence in court, whereas HTML has no security controls.PDF have a low risk of being contaminated by a virus.A PDF file can be password encrypted.PDF reader software which is free of charge whereas HTML requires a Browser window.Font is embedded in a P DF file ensuring that layout and appearance body intact, whereas HTML font and appearance is defined by the creator which can appear differently depending on browser functionality used.PDF is designed to take appearance of authentication into consideration, whereas HTML concentrates on structure.PDF files hold large data compared to that of HTML.(Adobe Systems Incorporated, 2006)c. PDF has a font embedded system allowing font programsto travel with the document, which are interpreted at the culture by the data structure, which is built into the application or by means of an external font file. This transfers the information into a character which is a graphical manikin known as a glyph. The file compresses information which preserves data and maintains the integrity of the original document including its fonts and graphics. (Chuck Geschke, 2004, p. 24)d. A PDF contains 5 object types in semblance to graphics, which are embedded into the file and transported with the document the se being-PathTextInlineShadingThese objects define the position, orientation, size of text, graphics and bitmap imagery that appear on the page by means of appropriate shading, structure, syntax, colour fill and line strokes. The cleverly designed graphical parameters allow conversion and compression files to make original discreet sorts to the graphics without changing the surrounding environment. The filedetermines the imagery and displays it in the exact layout and position. This is known as the Cartesian co-ordinate system. (Adobe Incorporated, 2006)A vector (object) image is handled similarly, as paths are made up of lines called Bezier curves. (Adobe Systems Incorporated, 2006)The path object transfers these into paths that can be stroked and filled. The output format is then transferred with the file to cater for the imagery.e. There are a come in of limitations that a PDF has on the end user these being-Graphic recognition is time consuming to process documents containing Vector graphicsDocuments holding plastered layouts like magazines and newspapers cannot be deciphered correctly. The documents are un-editable which could affect documents pertaining to lawyers, that require proofreading and alterations by the client.Due to new versions being released on a regular basis with new functionality, causes incompatibilities with documents created by earlier versions.Converting a PDF file back into a formatted word document asPDF does not recognise paragraphs, formatting, headers, footers, indentations, and line breaks. (PDF Tools, 2005)6. A computer network is divide physically as well as logically. A collision domain (Ethernet segment) is where two or more devices are attempting to transmit packets of data at the identical time and are usually contained within a broadcast domain. Devices that are attached to a hub or a switch are within a collision domain. Collision domains are usually divided by a switch or bridgesand use a collision -sensing protocol called CSMA/CD. The basic dodge for this protocol is it detects imminent collisions by abnormalities in the voltage, which occurs in the computer rejecting the corrupted frame (runt). (CISCO, 2006)A broadcast domain (Ethernet LAN) is a logical part of the network that emits data to another device.(Symatech, 2010)Figure 3 This diagram shows the 2Broadcast domains in Green and the 5collision domains in Red.Table 2 This table shows the ISO-OSI layers and the domains.LayerISO-OSI LayersWhats processedDomainDevices7Application LayerPorts, socketsInteraction6Presentation LayerFormat, encodingTranslation5Session LayerMessages, communicationControls Dialogue4 merchant marine LayerTCP segmentData transfer3Network LayerIP Packet, IP AddressBroadcast domains. Von Neumanns architecture comprises of the four main components, see diagram below. This is used in current computers lay the foundation to what is known as the littler Man Computer(Englander, 2010)the essential criteria for this architecture is the memory which has a stored program concept (Englander, 2010) which allows the programs to be edited. It stores the address in a sequenced address order which has its own memory expansion slot and traced by unique location number.Memory- consists of RAM to store programs and dataControl unit is used to fetch information from memory and decodes it and performs operations to put down the taskArithmetic unit performs mathematical calculationsInput/output is the interface with the human operatorFigure 4- diagram of Von Neumanns Computer Architecturehttp//computing.llnl.gov/tutorials/parallel_compAn example of entranceway and addi ng two numbers is as followsTake first number and input (the number is now stored in the calculator)store the number (this is stored in memory slot and number is left on calculator)-Input second number (2nd number replace first in calculator)Add first number to second (fetch 1st number from stored address location and add to number in calculator)Display/output result8. 32 bitswide or 4 Bytes can address 4Gigabytes of memory = 4 (232 = 4,294,967,296). AMD introduced the first 32 bit flash memory device on 5th August 2001 which would allow systems to run 8 x faster than those using standard flash memory. (Advanced Micro Devices Incorporated, 2010).9. Volatile memory is a term derived from the Latin word volatilis which translated means to fly. This terminology is applied to something that is unpredictable subject to change unstable or hostile. The RAM (Random Access Memory) in a computer istemporary (volatile storage), as the information stored is obliterated when the power is either switched off or interrupted, as power is required to retain information stored on the machines memory.Non Volatile memory (NVRAM) is not deleted when the connection between the memory and the CPU (Central Processing Unit) is lost. Devices such as memory disks or hard disk drives store information permanently until it is no longer required by the user.RAM, DRAM, SRAM are all forms of volatile memory and ROM and Flash memory are non-volatile forms of memory. Flash memory is widely used in the Automobile manufacturing industries, for car applications to work efficiently. Some cars contain MCUs chips (Microcontrollers), where program functionality are stored using non-volatile memory on the MCU, allowingcar functionality to work correctly such as Cruise control, air bag safety mechanism, engine controls and temperatures.(International Engineering Consortium, 2006)It could be crucial if this information plus vital safety checks were erased every time avehicle is switched off10. The Andean Community of Nations
The Andean Community of NationsThe Andean Community of NationsHistoryThe history of the Andean Community of Nations started on the 26th of May 1969, when Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru sign the Cartagena Agreement. This was the launch of the Andean Integration process and was too known as the Andean Pact, (Andean Community of Nations, a brief history, par. 1).
